Yoai is fine in and of itself. Example, I love 'Loveless.' What I dislike however is the nonsensical fan-pairings. I'm pretty sure Sasuke and Naruto are trying to kill each other, not stick stuff up the other's butt. I'm just saying.

What I don't like about yaoi is the over the top nature of the proportions and limb location. I'm not going to go too into detail, but most of the stuff is so ridiculously inaccurate it makes the fangirls look like morons when you ask them if they actually know anything about anything to do with anything.

That being said, some of it is hot, but it's all so poor, in taste and in function.
